✨ With melodies in her heart and deep roots in Lexington, Torrey Jackson has joyfully returned home to share her passion for music with a new generation. Her musical journey led her to earn a Masters in Opera Performance from the prestigious Longy School of Music of Bard College in Cambridge, Massachusetts, complemented by dual bachelor's degrees in Vocal Performance and Music Education from Appalachian State.
Beyond the classroom, Torrey enriches the local arts community through her role on the board of Lexington Live Community Theatre, where she both performs and helps shape the future of local theater. Her performances have graced stages from New York to Boston to North Carolina, spanning plays, operas, and musicals. When the curtain falls, she cherishes time with her daughter Elliott, creates culinary delights in the kitchen, and dreams up new adventures with her husband Kelly—a fellow music teacher and guitarist who adds his own harmony to their musical life. 🎵✨
